Cereus Peruvianus Monstrosus
This plant is one of the columnar cacti known which are hardy and fast-growing. This tall cactus plant branches from the base clump up to 15’ in diameter, and stems upward up to 7” in diameter. It blooms nightly, producing near-white flowers that are very fragrant. Blooming usually happens from June to September. As tree-like cacti, these plants make impressive accent plants and hedges as they are drought-tolerant and considered in the group of xeriscape plants.
