This plant is a rare tree that has a good tolerance for the limited light conditions of indoor environments. It has slender branches with dense, glossy dark leaves. When grown indoors, they usually grow up to 3 to 6 feet tall. These plants are prone to infestation by common pests including aphids, mealy bugs, scale, whitefly. This is considered one of the best plants for improving air quality indoors as it has one of the top removal rates for air toxins including benzene and trichlorothylene.
